Good clean HiFi sound. Flat response with little 400Hz dip in midbass. A truly delicious-sounding speaker and a well- deserved winner here. Both boffins wanted to keep this pair for their own use.

VERDICT: Sound quality judges at competitions have been letting competitors sit inside cars with these installed, to educate them as to what imaging should be like in a car. A real Hi-Fi in the automotive world, they are a damned good value and a true winner in every respect. Glory to the purple ones!
