Superior bass response, no more need for a separate subwoofer to take your trunk space away. The unique designed MX-2000 corner mate crossover provides a 200Hz crossover permitting use of the door speakers strictly as woofers. These woofers are then supplemented with midrange/tweeter drivers which now, after the MX-2000, do not need to handle any bass. Therefore they can be quite small. Since the mid/tweets are so compact many more locations can be used. No need for a subwoofer any more.
